In order to provide better service on Consular Attestation or Legalization, the Chinese Embassy in India and Consulates General in Mumbai and Kolkata will outsource the above-mentioned document submitting services to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers(CVASC) as from August 6th , 2018.

Consular Attestation or Legalization for Indian as well as third country citizens in India should be submitted through the CVASC. Chinese citizens may choose to submit their Consular Attestation or Legalization at the Chinese Embassy (Delhi), Chinese Consulates in Mumbai and Kolkata or directly through the CVASC.

The services provided by CVASC include applications acceptance, fees collection, hand over documents and information inquiry. The examination and approval of documents remain to be decided by the Consular officials.
